The crocodile project in Costa Rica

A Master thesis project funded through an MFS-stipend researching the crocodile population in Costa Rica
The project in Costa Rica  2014 was a part of of master thesis in environmental toxicology and aimed to shed light on why the sex ratio in the river of Tempisque is skewed towards males. The hypothesis tested by me was if this is an effect from pollutant exposure, and my collegue Ludvig Orsén examined if it is an effect due to temperature changes in the nesting sites or in the environment in general.

The project found no evidence that neither pollution or temperature change was the cause of the skewed sex ratio in the Tempisque River.
